Bart Eagle is an experienced trial lawyer who has been in private practice for over 25 years representing clients in commercial litigation disputes across a wide range of issues and industries. He represents a diverse mix of small and mid-size businesses, entrepreneurs, business owners, and other individuals in federal and state courts, before administrative tribunals, and in arbitration and mediation proceedings. Bart has taught courses in trial advocacy to junior attorneys and is regularly called upon to judge law school moot court and mock trial competitions.
Clients value Bart’s strategic, meticulous, and tenacious approach to achieving an outcome that best fits their circumstances. His emphasis on practical solutions reflects his training in the Queens District Attorney’s Office where he obtained convictions in a number of high profile cases involving murder, armed and violent felonies, and economic crimes. In addition to his commercial litigation, some clients retain Bart on an ongoing basis as outsourced “in-house counsel” for all of their legal needs. Bart also serves as a mediator and is listed on the American Arbitration Association’s Roster of Mediators as well as the roster of neutrals for the New York State Supreme Court, New York County Commercial Division.
